What is New Brew Networking?
New Brew Networking is exactly what it sounds like – networking over a new brew.
It’s a monthly online event for freelancers and small business owners who enjoy trying new beers and meeting new people.
You’ll be asked to introduce yourself, tell us a bit about your business, and let us know what you’re drinking. Once everyone has done this, we’ll just chat about whatever comes up.
There are no sales pitches or presentations. It’s just a group of business owners having a beer together.
New Brew Rules
The idea behind New Brew Networking is that we all bring a beer we’ve never tried before.
This can be any style of beer (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Ideally, something you have never tried before (or haven’t tried for a long time). Preferably from an independent brewery (although this is not a deal breaker).
And that’s it. Bring a brew and let’s chat.
The only other rules are:
- Be nice
- Be respectful
- Don’t hog the conversation
You can of course talk about your business, but this isn’t a pitchfest. If your main goal is to drum up sales, this probably isn’t the right event for you. If, on the other hand, you want to have a beer with a few friendly people who also run their own businesses, then come along and get involved.
